Initiation of the GAMM Student Chapter Bochum

With supported of the GAMM representant Prof. Dr.-ing. habil. Daniel Balzani a GAMM student chapter has been established at the Ruhr University Bochum. The first board of directors is formed by Maximilian Köhler (president), Dennis Ogiermann (vice-president) and Hendrik Dorn (secretary and treasurer). Researchers and students with connection to applied mathematics or mechanics who interested in a membership can write Maximilian Köhler (maximilian.koehler@rub.de) an informal mail.
The student chapter provides a space in which scientific presentations about a wide range of related topics are organized, interdisciplinary, open discussions are carried out, and, once we have the possibility again, an environment for joint recreational activities.
